more info I was tasked with designing GIFs for Broadway Cares’ event, Red Bucket Follies. These were used on social media stories by the team to promote the event as well as by those who attended and posted their experiences. This event is about celebrating a fundraising season coming to an end so I wanted the GIFs to express that. I used the branding for the event and past imagery as well as the iconic red bucket.

A big challenge I face when creating GIFs is finding elements that are in a style that will look good next to the existing pieces of the GIF (the logo, pictures and bucket). I start with visualizing and sketching how I want the animation to appear and then go into After Effects to make that a reality.
