Personal Project
Gigi, a film from 1958, centers around the main character by the same name who is raised to be a girl of society. The typeface carries the elegance of a serif and script typeface but is intentionally softer to represent the innocence of the character being brought up but not yet settled in the ways of the upper class lifestyle. This is supported by the pink color. The figure, representing Gigi, is positioned in a way to show dual personalities - one of longing for what could be, what she wants, also shown by the hand reaching out, but she turns to show the pulling toward where society wants to place her. Explored are two variations of the same logo.
